Providing a safe and loving environment is crucial for new cavoodle family member to thrive.
During the first few days, your cavoodle may need some time to adjust to their new surroundings. However, with the right support and care, they will adjust quickly. To ease the transition, provide a warm and cozy space for your cavoodle to retreat to, spend time bonding through casual play and cuddles, and establish a routine to give them a sense of security.

Here are some tips to help you avoid stress when taking care of your cavoodle, avoid making major dietary changes, don't overwork your cavoodle, confine them when unsupervised, allow for plenty of rest, provide fresh water at all times, and puppy-proof your home to prevent any injuries. We generally avoid feeding chicken to our dogs, as it’s one of the more common protein allergens. Many dogs can develop sensitivities over time, often showing signs such as itching, ear infections, paw licking, or digestive upset like vomiting or diarrhoea.
Additionally, we do not feed raw chicken due to the risk of bacterial contamination (such as salmonella), and we never offer bones, as they pose a serious choking hazard. If you wouldn’t feed raw chicken to your child, it’s worth considering the same caution for your dog.

Exercise
Cavoodles like any dog need regular exercise. They are active and energetic dogs that enjoy being part
of family activity. They require moderate exercise such as a walk, chasing a ball, swimming or a trip to the park.
They love socializing with other dogs.
Caution is needed when they are pups so that they are not over exercised.
Jumping on and off couches and out of cars should also be discouraged.
